Abstract
Translation is frequently used for product manuals, particularly to simplify product usage for buyers. Clear and easy-to-understand manuals boost buyer confidence in operating their purchased products. For instance, the iPhone manual includes written translations to ensure that the information is effectively communicated. A notable example is the translation of the iPhone manual. This study explores the translation of verbs in the iPhone 13 Pro Max manual by holistically gathering and analyzing verb data using Spradley's analysis model. The research utilizes translation techniques from Molina & Albir (2002) and Nababan et al. (2012) to assess translation quality. The findings reveal that the Established Equivalent technique is the most commonly used in the translation. However, the Reduction (Deletion) technique has a notable negative impact on translation quality, resulting in decreased accuracy, acceptability, and readability. This highlights the importance of careful technique selection to maintain high translation quality. Keywords: Translation Technique, Translation Quality, Verbs, iPhone 13 Pro Max Manual Book.
