Abstract

Indonesia Pemilu merupakan perwujudan kedaulatan rakyat dalam sistem demokrasi, termasuk dalam pemilihan kepala daerah yang kini dilakukan secara langsung. Pantarlih berperan penting dalam kegiatan pencocokan dan penelitian (Coklit) untuk memastikan data pemilih akurat dan mutakhir. Namun, pelaksanaan di lapangan menghadapi tantangan seperti kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat, data tidak valid, minimnya sosialisasi, serta keterbatasan waktu kerja. Studi kasus di Desa Sumberkolak, Kabupaten Situbondo, menunjukkan bahwa dukungan masyarakat dan optimalisasi peran Pantarlih sangat menentukan keberhasilan tahapan Pilkada secara menyeluruh. Tujuan penelitian Peran Pantarlih Dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Data Pemilih adalah Untuk Menganalisis dan Memahami Bagaimana Pantarlih (Petugas Pemutakhiran Data Pemilih) berkontribusi terhadap akurasi dan validitas data pemilih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu PPK Div Perencanaan Data dan Informasi Informan Utama, Ketua PPS Desa Sumberkolak, Anggota PPS Desa Sumberkolak, Petugas Pantarlih, dan Masyarakat sebagai Informan Pendukung. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Pantarlih berperan penting dalam Pilkada 2024 melalui tiga aspek utama: sosialisasi, pencocokan dan penelitian (Coklit), serta validasi data pemilih. Mereka tidak hanya menyampaikan informasi kepada masyarakat, tetapi juga mencocokkan data secara langsung dan memastikan akurasi data pemilih, menjadikan Pantarlih sebagai aktor kunci dalam menjamin kelancaran dan keakuratan tahapan pemutakhiran data pemilih. Kata kunci: Pantarlih, Pemutakhiran Data Pemilih, Coklit, Pilkada 2024, Situbondo Inggris Elections represent the embodiment of popular sovereignty within a democratic system, including regional head elections that are now conducted directly. Pantarlih (Voter Data Updating Officers) play a crucial role in the matching and research (Coklit) process to ensure that voter data is accurate and up to date. However, implementation in the field often faces challenges such as low public awareness, invalid data, limitedsocialisation, and time constraints. A case study conducted in Sumberkolak Village, Situbondo Regency, reveals that community support and the optimisation of Pantarlih’s role are key determinants of the overall success of the regional election stages. The study entitled “The Role of Pantarlih in Improving the Quality of Voter Data” aims to analyse and understand how Pantarlih contributes to the accuracy and validity of voter data. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method. The informants included the PPK Division of Data and Information Planning as the main source, along with the Chairperson and Members of the PPS (Village Election Committee) of Sumberkolak Village, Pantarlih officers, and community members as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that Pantarlih plays a vital role in the 2024 Regional Election through three main aspects: socialisation, matching and research (Coklit), and voter data validation. They not only disseminate information to the public but also directly verify and ensure the accuracy of voter data. Therefore, Pantarlih serves as a key actor in maintaining the integrity and reliability of the voter data updating process.
