Abstract

Many teachers use various learning models but lack innovation, the success of the learning process will be difficult to achieve because students will feel unchallenged or do not understand the objectives of the tasks given, as a result students are passive in participating in learning, especially in mathematical story problems that require analytical skills and concrete application of concepts. Effective learning requires the active involvement of teachers in facilitating student understanding, not just providing. To overcome the above problems, an instructional learning model is needed but with a more supportive learning approach or model actively involved. This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) learning model assisted by the musi board media on the ability to solve mathematical story problems on the Greatest Common Multiple (KPK) and Greatest Common Factor (FPB) material for class V at elementary school cluster 4 Sumberkolak in the new academic year 2024/2025.
