Abstract

It introduces a CLIL-based biography writing project as an innovative pedagogical strategy. By combining content learning (local identity and biography writing) with English language acquisition, the chapter demonstrates how CLIL can be effectively applied in a real classroom setting, particularly in under-researched local contexts like Situbondo, Indonesia.
