Abstract

This study investigates how effective the Wordwall application is as a learning medium to improve student learning outcomes in grade IV on the material of changes in energy forms at SDN 1 Gudang in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study departs from the problems found in the less effective lecture method, based on observations and interviews with students. The Wordwall application was implemented as a solution to overcome these problems, with the aim of increasing student activity and creating a more conducive classroom atmosphere. The results of the data analysis showed that the implementation of the Wordwall Application had a significant effect on learning outcomes compared to the lecture method. The results showed that the implementation of the Wordwall Application as a learning medium had a greater effect than the lecture method. This type of research uses a quantitative method. The results showed that there was an effect of the implementation of the Wordwall Application learning media compared to the lecture method. The average value of the control class was 63.82 while the experimental class was 77.41. This can also be seen from the results of the t-test calculation showing that the post-test values of the two classes were t count = 3,500 31 and t table = 2,032, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted.
