Abstract
The study titled "The Effect of the Make A Match Cooperative Learning Model on the Science Learning Outcomes of Fifth-Grade Students in Cluster 3, Prajekan Subdistrict, Bondowoso Regency" is motivated by the low academic achievement of fifth-grade students in Cluster 3, Prajekan Subdistrict. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of applying the Make A Match cooperative learning model on the science subject learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in this area. This study uses a quasi- experimental method, an approach applied to test causal relationships by involving an experimental class and a control class, but without applying randomization techniques. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the hypothesis testing of the data obtained shows that the mean score of students in the experimental class, which used the Make A Match Cooperative Learning Model, achieved higher learning outcomes than the control group, which used a conventional approach. Hypothesis calculations indicate that there is an effect of the Make A Match Cooperative Learning Model on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students. This is evident from the results of the t-test, where the t-value (t_obtained) = 2.640 is greater than the t-table value (t_critical) = 2.048, or t_obtained > t_critical. Therefore, it can be concluded that "There is an influence of applying the Make A Match cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Cluster 3, Prajekan Subdistrict, Bondowoso Regency." Statistical test results show that the Make A Match cooperative learning model is proven to be more effective and significant in achieving optimal learning outcomes.
