Abstract

The agricultural sector has an important role in the economy in Indonesia, one of the agriculture sector isplantation subsector. Sugarcane is one of the plants in the plantation subsectorthathas a high economicvalue and processedinto sugar. Sugar is one ofnine basicneeds of cummunity, so that the sugar industry isan important element in moving the national economy. Mojo Sugar Factory is one unitofPTPN IXofSurakarta that produce sugar. Thedecreasingin sugar productiongivesimpact on the decreasingof the sugarindustrycontributionin Indonesia toachievethe self-sufficiency ofsugar.Improvingandenhancingthesustainable supply chain management in the sugar industry is expected to increasetheproductionresultso asto maximize the valueadded. This study aimedto determine the conditionsof thesugarcanesupply chain inMojoSugar Factory,inSragen. The method used in thisstudywasdescriptiveanalysis.The study wasconductedinMojo Sugar Factory in Sragen. Descriptive analysisresultshowedthatthestructure of thesugarcanesupply chain in MojoSugar Factoryhasaperformancethatisnot optimal
