Abstract

This research aims to determine the diversity of mangrove vegetation on Tangsi Beach, Tanjung Pecinan Village, Situbondo Regency, and determine the community structure of mangrove vegetation on Tangsi Beach, Tanjung Pecinan Village, Situbondo Regency. The population in this study was the Mangrove Forest on Tangsi Beach. Sampling was taken from plants growing in transects measuring 10x10, 5x5, 2x2. The plant types in the association consist of 10 types of association plants growing at 1 alloxy point in a transect measuring 10x10, 5x5, 2x2. The diversity index of the association consists of 8 plant species with an index of 1.387. Determination of sampling points is carried out randomly. The sampling points were determined as 3 points with a distance between the points of 10 meters. Data collection was carried out using the double plot transect method with a plot size of 10x10 m2 for tree stands. Then within the plot a smaller plot is created with a plot size of 5x5 m2 to calculate the sapling stand, and a plot size of 2 x 2 m2 to calculate the seedling stand. The way to measure the diameter is to wrap a tape measure around the stand at chest height, to measure the height using the "MonMang" application so that the height of a mangrove stand can be determined. Meanwhile, measurements for the type of substrate, the number of mangrove trees cut down, and the percentage of waste are done by observing and inputting data into the "MonMang" application. The results of this research can be concluded that the Mangrove Forest Vegetation on Tangsi Beach that has been found is 5 types of mangrove species including Avecennia marina, Avecennia alba, Rhizopora mucronata, Rhizopora stylosa, and Sonneratia alba. The value of vegetation diversity in the mangrove forest on Tangsi Beach is still considered moderate, because the H' value is 1.384 and 1.19. The vegetation structures found were trees with the species Avecennia marina, Avecennia alba, Rhizopora mucronata, Rhizopora stylosa, and Sonneratia alba. Saplings with the species Avecennia marina, Avecennia alba, Rhizopora stylosa, Rhizopora mucronata. And seedlings with Avecennia marina, Rhizopora mucronata, Rhizopora stylosa. The most important INP is found in the Avecennia marina species at 117.73%. in the sapling group, the most important INP was found in the Avecennia marina species at 143.73%. and in the seedling group, the most important INP was found in the Rhizopora mucronata species at 98.55%. while the lowest level of each group is the species Sonneratia alba. The results of sampling and identification of the associated mangrove plants on Tangsi Beach found 9 types of associated mangrove plant species, namely Spinivex sp, Cyperus sp, Opuntia sp, Inschaemun sp, Lannea coromadelica, Jatropha Gossypifollia, Tunera umlifolia l, Azadirechta indica, Himbicus tiliaceus.
