Abstract

Maize (Zea mays) is potential plant to associate with Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungal (AMF). The purposes of the research to determine the concentration of CMA, oil concentration and the combination of CMA concentration and oil concentration in growing maize (Zea mays). In this study, a statistical test was used with a factorial research design consisting of two factors. The first factor is 5 concentrations of CMA, namely 0 g, 5 g, 20 g, 35 g, 50 g and the second factor is 4 concentrations of oil, namely 0 mg, 2500 mg, 5000 mg, 10000 mg. Each polybag that was treated with the addition of CMA and oil was also given soil and compost in a ratio (1:1). Crude oil is taken from an oil drilling location in Wonocolo Subdistrict, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. Corn plant growth parameters were measured 35 days after planting. The results showed that the concentration of CMA, oil concentration, the combination of CMA concentration and oil concentration affected the growth of maize (Zea mays). The best concentration of CMA in the growth of corn plants was the concentration of 50 g of CMA with plant height 145 cm and root length of 22 cm.
