Abstract
Human resource management is the management and utilization of resources within individuals. Management and utilization are developed to the fullest extent in the workplace to achieve organizational goals and develop individual talents. The objective of this research is to analyze and test the influence of work discipline and work environment on employee performance through job satisfaction at Assembagoes Sugar Mill (PG Assembagoes). The population of this research includes employees in the Finance and General Accounting departments at PG Assembagoes. The analysis and testing method in this research involve using the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application indicate that directly, work discipline has a significantly positive influence on job satisfaction, the work environment has a significantly positive influence on job satisfaction, work discipline has a positive but not significant influence on performance, the work environment has a positive but not significant influence on performance, and job satisfaction has a positive but not significant influence on performance. The results of the hypothesis testing for indirect effects show that the work discipline variable has a positive but not significant influence on performance through job satisfaction, and the work environment variable has a positive but not significant influence on performance through job satisfaction.
